matchful Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I feel your pain with the Blondies. My favorite amp is my 62 Blonde Tremolux. Nice deal on the equipment. I wish that I had the money. I still have to pay for the Aceburst Sunburst, but I love those Korina Artists. Decisions, decisions.....Somebody please get this, because I have no self control and a credit card. I am seeking help, but it isn't working
Kilroy is all about... Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 BUMP w/questions: 1) if this amp still available; 2) what tubes are currently loaded; 3) what are the tonal distinctions btw the two speaker options. 4) what is the production year, and paperwork? thanks in advance... Top Hat Club Deluxe. Small divit on top otherwise excelent condition. $850.00 with Webber Blue dog Ceramic $900.00 with new G12H. kilroy queries
Stokesdead Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 Kilroy buy the tophat with the G12-H. Then once you get it send me an email telling me how much you love it. TopHats are great amps. I have gigged with my Club Royale for the past 5 years with no other amp. No backup. GREAT tone. Everytime I load in some "redneck" says hes never heard of that amp but by the end of the night he's asking where the closest dealer is. This has happened again and again. BTW $900 is a steal for that amp. I would buy it, but my wife would kill me. ~Chris Stokes
BadgerDave Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 +1 on the TopHat.BruceM has one in his basement and I "claim" it at every 4321 Club Jam.

I also gig without a backup (although now I have a PowerBlock just in case) and I've never had a problem with it. I assume the Club Deluxe is similar to a Fender Deluxe with the 6V6 tubes? Of course, you don't see Fenders with Cut controls and Fat/Bright boost switches!
JES1680 Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Everything's on hold pending funds. Thanks FrankieII
