BadgerDave Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I'm looking for a device that Stew Mac used to sell. It hooked on to the top of a Floyd bridge and held everything steady as you loosened the set screws and moved the saddles back and forth. Allegedly, it made setting the intonation a whole lot easier.Anyone have one they would part with or know of a source for a new one? Thanks

BCR Greg Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Needlenose pliers with heatshrink on them to protect the bridge. Better, faster, cheaper.
kurtsstuff Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I set my floyds parallel to the body (as they should be) and when intonating..I either block the trem level or slide a "rest" under the floyd plate with it being just tight enough that when I loosen the intended string to be intonated...the floyd doesn't move....alot easier than I make it sound I think??
kurtsstuff Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Enough with the intonation already. I'm with ya on that...Intonation is soooo overrated....lol!!
