Travis Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I might be looking for a PA-STK1n as well. But I've never heard one before. From what I understand it's a noiseless single coil. Other than that, can you expand a little on the tone?
atquinn Posted May 14, 2007 Author Posted May 14, 2007 Sorry, I've ripped them out of every guitar I've had them in too fast to get a nuanced idea of the tone . Mostly, I've had them in Cali's and I always replace them with single-coil-sized humbuckers (like Hot Rails or Dimarzio Choppers). I had one in the middle position of an HSH Chap, but I only really played it in combination with the bridge and neck PATB humbuckers (where it sounded very good), not alone. -Austin
