kurtsstuff Posted July 11, 2007 Author Posted July 11, 2007 How are these Krank amps? I've never seen or played one.Well....I personally think they are a good sounding and very versatile ampand for being such a high gain amp the cleans are pretty damn good. The really cool thing is that they are quiet compared to alot of other amps also, It'sone of the very few "new" amps that I can just plug in and play without having to doctor it up with a bunch of outboard gear.
FrankieII Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I own a Krank Chadwick 50 and it does early AC/DC like no other plugged straight in, no pedals.
princeofdarkness56 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I saw one of Alice Cooper's guitar players using a Krank. Think it was a Krankenstien which is very high gain and it sounded excellent. Don't think he had much in the way of pedals either from what I could see.
kurtsstuff Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 PCB or handwired? Master volume I am guessing?Mostly PCB and master volume.....2 masters on the Krank channel for solo boost'sI saw one of Alice Cooper's guitar players using a Krank.
