The fedx lady tripped coming out of the truck & the guitar went flying end over end & crashed in my front yard....while I stood there mouth agape, she picked it up , dropped it AGAIN, & said "I have had nothing but trouble with this box for 2 days...I just can't get a handle on it."I signed, mentioning that it is a valuable, fragile instrument...then I prayed to the LORD that the headstock wouldn't be cracked or bbroken off....I left it sit for a couple hours to acclimate & then opened her up. Looks great in every way! Plays great too. I rehearsed with it last night with a band sitting in with for a gig on Saturday & they were ga-ga over the looks and the tone... The shelf is a non-issue for me. I haven't had an LP-type in quite a while.Typical Hamer quality fit & finish. Thanks Belikerick!
