A few points, because the issues keep repeating.1. No dealer, or hobbiest-for-profit for sale threads outside of the Dealer Emporium.2. Bumping, bouncing or BTT is allowed once per day, for no more than one week. Please police yourselves on this.3. It is bad form to post comments on pricing within a For Sale thread critical of the seller's price. If you *must* comment, use PM or email to make your point. Keep it off the boards.4. It is bad form to post seperate threads selling items at the same time; put them in one post, highlight them in your subject line and get on with it. Don't "hog the board".5. It is bad form to hold "make an offer" pseudo-auctions; if you are selling post a price. If you are proposing a trade, be clear about what you will or won't take and whether you will sell outright or not.6. The Moderators and Administrators cannot and willnot get involved in deals gone right or wrong; if you feel you have been ripped off, inform us and we will make a judgement about whether or not the accused can continue to post on the board or be suspended from doing so after we hear their side of the story. We are not judges and enforcers. Buyer Beware! At ALL times.7. Pease delete sold ads. Don't clutter up the space. If the item is sold, please delete the ad.It's only common curtousy to remove an add once and item has either sold or for what ever reason is no longer for sale.Obviously, not all of that applies to us....but most of it is just common sense and it seems to me to be very simple to implement. #5 is the one that really gets under my skin..if you are selling it, post a price...if not...don't waste my f*cking time.
ZR Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 Armitage, with my plan ppl can still post things for sale but the paying supporters just get first crack at it. Maybe more ppl would be supporters then for that benefit and help Ted out with some cash. Paying supporters could choose to post in the exclusive side for sale board or the public side depending on their personal choices. I'd probably post on the exclusive side 1st giving the regulars first crack at it but someone else could choose to post on the public side to get a faster sale. Basically, this plan helps paying supporters and may generate more paying supporters (cash) for Ted.
