Thundernotes Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 This is a very powerful looping tool - way more than I need at this point in my life. It's got more features than I can list, but here's a link to get you started. http://www.bossus.com/index.asp?pg=1&tmp=155It's in excellent (almost new) condition in its original packaging with manual, drum loop CD, USB cable, and power supply. They're $499 at MF and on backorder until the end of the month. I guess they're popular.I'll offer it here for $350 shipped to the lower 48, PayPal is fine. I'll probably put it on ebay Sunday night.http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k65/thun...ent=rc50top.jpghttp://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k65/thun...nt=rc50rear.jpg
alantigold Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 I have one of these, so I'll just add that it's a very powerful tool at a killer price. There's not much in the looping world you can't do with this thing.Good luck w/the sale!Alan
tomteriffic Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I saw Will Kimbrough, a terrifyingly good player in the roots-rock/americana vein last night. He was with his "power trio" if you will. I never thought of using a looper in that context, but he used it on electric, acoustic and banjo, playing through the changes of a given solo section and then dweedling over them. It was so smooth, and he's such a phenomenal player that he did it once or twice before I caught on to what he was up to.I told MER that I needed a looper by way of a very broad Christmas hint. Snoozed and lost on this one though.
