Jimbilly Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 For the PA I manage, our amps use those standard computer type power cables (w/ the funky female end on the amp end, -you know the ones). Some of the 14g ones have wandered off, and I need to order a couple, it sure wouldn't hurt to have bigger wires to the amps that do most of the work. Any idea where to order some of those? Audio Advisor has some, but I don't want to spend $100+ ea, -ouch!!!
Thundernotes Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 You could check Home Depot. They carry some decent ones, though I'm not sure if they go to 14.If that fails, Mouser carries some nice ones for $20:http://www.mouser.com/search/refine.aspx?Ntt=686-17605
anotherfreak2 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I had ordered a bunch from planet waves, but I can't find them anymore? That style of plug is getting pretty popular, Menards?
AdmiralB Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 How long?Mouser has lots....look here: http://www.mouser.com/catalog/632/950.pdf
Steve Haynie Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Your local music store may carry Hosa cables and connectors. You can always look for OEM cables, too.
Jimbilly Posted January 3, 2008 Author Posted January 3, 2008 Perfect, those Hosa's are just what I need, 1.5 or 3 footers for inside the rack to the Furman. Thanks guys!
unfun 75 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Bayou Audio Cables carries the Hosa line.Link here: link
