BubbaVO Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 It's clean and works. This is a nice made in USA example. I've owned it since I got it back in '95 from the Makin' Music store in Chicago. I did have to replace one of the 12 AX7s as shown below. You'll pick up shipping and any paypal fees. PM me if you're interested. Thanks for looking.
BubbaVO Posted February 29, 2008 Author Posted February 29, 2008 Buy my Centaura and this amp and I'll charge you $700 - no a bad deal at all. bump
tomteriffic Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Off the shelf these were probably the very best sounding of the Classic line. Here's a chance to get a good 'un.
Imiss85 Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Do these have the overdrive and clean channel like the classic 30 does?
BubbaVO Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 1 channel - with clean and boost feature. It's not as versatile as a trademark 60, but it does generate good tones.
mr. papa Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I agree, these are great little amps. At different points I had all of the amps in the Classic line, and this one was definitely the most useful to me. Not sure why they killed it off, actually.
kanegon Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 A little tough going for jams and rehearsals, but works great with my Palmer for recording. Master volume really lets you tweak the grain. Sounds better than any of my other rec setups. Even harder to let go after 15 years!
BubbaVO Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 does that have a 10 or a 12 in it?The speaker is stock. I think a 10"
BubbaVO Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Lower price to reflect recent EBay sales. Ouch.
