Since I've liked SD 59s before and they are amazing in my chambered Bluesbird, I want to give those a shot. I'd rather not buy a new set, then decide I want to try Antiquities, the decide I want to try Fralins, etc. etc. Who knows... maybe I'd like GFS best or something Unka Gregy pushes.Anyway, hit me up with anything you'd unload. Let's talk! Requirements:Not too hot. Or at least not SOUNDING too hot.More dark than bright. Not twangy or jangly, no Filtertrons.Fits humbucker spacesI'm playing a semihollow into a Laney VC30, so some Britpop sounds get me in the ballpark, as do classic Lester sounds. The hollowness of the ES seems to brighten everything so I'm kinda thinking single-coils such as Phat Cats are out, but on the other hand I loved the sound of my old Artist with P90s (damn I regret selling it to Riffpowers). I alos once had Harmonic Designs V90s in a Duotone that sounded fabulous.Whatcha got? Thanks!
