Stike Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 Okay, I have always wanted one so I'm going to finally scratch that itch. Here's my specifics. I'd really like one of the older Lead 12's, I think they look cooler than the newer 15's (well the Zakk edition looks pretty sweet) and this more than anything else is about the look. And as always I'm looking to spend as little as I possibly can . There's actually one that fits the bill I saw on New Jersey Craigslist (Lakehurst) but the dude wont ship dammit. Anyone?

I never asked Stu about it because I figure they were either collecting them/decorating with or would want way more than I want to spend. I guess it couldn't hurt to ask huh?
cmatthes Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I bought one of those back in '86 or so at the Music Loft in Winston-Salem (traded in a little Marshall Combo for it). Got rid of it for my Boogie a few years later, but always remembered that as a fun little amp. I picked up the one below a few years ago, but my son has kind of "acquired" it... I'll definitely look around for ya though. I've seen a few used ones for reasonable prices recently up here. The weird Guitar Shop on Connecticut Ave. a few blocks from my office has a red one. I haven't asked what they want for it, but knowing that place, probably $1,000 or so (!!!) .
Stike Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Chris, that looks exactlly like the one in Jersey, he's got it priced at only $150. I've seen some of the color stacks go on Ebay in the $400 range. And I'm sure Carter will "aquire" what ever I get.
