specialk Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 hamertek, Thanks for catching that! I forgot to put the little dude in there at the end. Gene, that Vector has your name written all over it bro! Do it, you know you want to! As you said, "Klusons, no pickguard". Mmmm..... good.....
BTMN Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 You must have skipped over this line... Well, ones that I might REALLY consider letting go. ..... I have a really cool '97 Mahogany Standard that came to me that was Bruce919s so I know he has great taste in gear. This Vector should be real nice. The Zebra arrangement is even a match.
BTMN Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 I see you forgot, I'm actually the Jester of Korina. Word of advise to potential sellers, DONT play guitars you think you wanna sell. I just played the Son of a... and it was yelling at me "DONT SELLL ME!!! DONT SELL ME!!!! " I swear. I need an input jack plate for that one to sell it. HMMMM....
BTMN Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Aw Man, Ladies and Gentleman, Life IS Good! This lil Vector should be coming down South very soon. Cant wait.
specialk Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Congrats, Gene. It looks like you got a real fine one there!
peedenmark7 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 what was the up charge for changing from a pick guard to rear route ? I'd like to compare notes............ hamer quoted me $375 for the rear route and $500 to change the control configuration to the 80s vector control layout... which is basically only a toggle position move. I thought that a bit pricey and it and some other things eventually became the stumbling block on a somewhat recent vec. custom order. maybe I should have ordered a rear route with no controls and shot the holes myself.... $500 retail savings for a half hours work.... ohhhh dave
