Steve Haynie Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I briefly had a Scarab bass that was sold to a friend of mine. I remember it being very light. A lot of the wood that would normally be there on a Blitz bass is missing, and Hamer seemed to be using some lightweight mahogany on every Blitz I have tried. That should have been true for the Scarabs, too.
