mrmojorising Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I have a spectacular Harmony Rocket that was previously owned by Duke Robillard as part of his personal collection before he sold it a few years back. Its on ebay now and all the details are there, with a lot of good pics.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280276089391I'll end early for a HFC member. Just email me.Whoever gets this guitar will NOT be disappointed. Only selling because I bought a similar 2 pup doublecut Rocket (needed the double cut, and they didnt make 3 pup double cuts). There is a reason of course that Jack White likes the old Harmony Rockets....
tomteriffic Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Wow, a six-knobber! With the markings on the pickup switch plate intact! I always did love that "six-knob along the rim" arrangement. This is a very cool piece. I had one just like it in red way back eons ago. I wish I had the disposable dosh.Somebody grab this.
Submariner85 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 That's one nice guitar especially for it's age. Wow.
hrtatak Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 I have one of those that my Dad left me. It is a Holiday not a Harmony though. I have never really been able to find any info on it. I assume it is a catalog(Sears, Montgomery Ward, ect...)guitar that is the same as the Harmony. I used to drive everyone nuts doing the Ted Nugent feedback thing with it. hahaha
hamerican gigolo Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Very nice! If it is good enough for the Duke,it should be bought & cherished. Good luck with the sale.
