Scottone Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I just picked up this large case for my 80's Chaparral bass but is it much too large (see pic). I think that this was originally meant for an 8 string or 12 string bass. The case is beat up and has some sort of improvised handle, but is still solid and nice on the inside. If someone in the Toronto area has a conventional sized bass case (Hamer or not) and needs one of these, I'll be more than willing to swap. If you want to buy, I'm asking $50.00 Cnd. Thx..
serial Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Looks like an early 80s Blitz Bass case. Cool-I KNOW that there are a ton of Blitz basses out there w/o cases-I've had one and seen many more!Good luck w/the sale.

cmatthes Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I think the Blitz, Scarab, Standard and FB basses all had the same case model. A moderately-sized aircraft carrier will also fit.
