velorush Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I have heard a few of you speak very well of the Duotone. I found this one on eBay in a color I really like and for not much cash. This interests me as I need a good acoustic occasionally, but refuse to spend the bucks on one. I have toyed the idea of putting a Ghost bridge in the Gibson, but can't bring my self to do that, either.1. Being a '94 (I assume from the serial number) would it have a larger neck like the mid-90s specials we have discussed? 2. How realistic are the acoustic tones?3. is a black pup in the bridge original? Thanks
BubbaVO Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Great guitar. Should be consistent with mid-90 neck. Acoustic tones are good - some will argue that the JP has better. Don't know if black pup is original - could be an all black JB.Do some searches here and you'll read the praises people have for these guitars.
