But of course, when the itch began to appear, the first thing i did was search "Hamer USA" on Ebay.Is it just me, or have these guitars gone through the roof over the past 3 years since i bought my last Cali?Is it re-seller hell or what?2600 for a (non-elite) ( and ugly paint job) 80's Cali? wth?900 for a Daytona? Same for a hideously-finished Centaura?I'll keep looking, but trying to get a feel for the overall market..it looks like maybe the cat got out of the bag, and the worlds best quality guitars at reasonable prices may have become...unreasonable. I suppose my main concern is, if this is an effect of resellers..then i'll know to jump on buy-it-nows....Peace

If you have some cash, a little patience and some digging will get you an outstanding deal on a used Hamer. It is very much a buyer's market, and those sellers are dreaming.What are you looking for?My $.02 on the subject.Z

I was going to trade it to my bro for a mini-van, but that sounded incredibly un-rock and roll, so it is up for grabs at that same low, low price (actually $550 but shipped and insured so, yeah, it's about a $500 deal for a nice USA Ash Daytona).
