fractal Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi,I have NO affiliation with this. I just was cruising e-bay, and the price looked pretty good.Someone school me if this is a crappy deal.http://cgi.ebay.com/Hamer-25th-Anniversary...Z260470981529QQ(By the way, I'd like to, but can't swing it - so if it is a good deal, I'd like someone here to get it.)
sirDaniel Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Honestly?I could have bought one new for $750 (that was an awesome price BTW) in '99. 2 years later, they went for around $700. 5 years later...around $700. Now, around $700.Best described as a great, simple tone machine, well made and..HOLDS IT'S VALUE LIKE A ROCK.

It plays as nicely as any Hamer and has an enormous tonal range that is at home with any level (or absence) of distortion. People pay this much for used MIK guitars, while this thing pretty much plays and handles like a $3K Newport. I know, because I have both.
