Scooter Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 SOLDI bought this off eBay a while ago, but never installed it in anything. It's gathering dust , so off it goes.Typical double black. No ring included - just the pup in the Suhr box. Here's the description from Suhr:The result of collaboration between John Suhr and rock guitarist extraordinaire Doug Aldrich, the Aldrich humbuckers are the ultimate high-output pickups for aggressive rock style of playing. The Aldrich bridge humbucker is now our highest output pickup but it oozes tone across its sound spectrum. It is big sounding yet focused and punchy in the mids and tight in the lows. You will never hear this pickup get flubby and undefined in the highest gain settings. The high-mids will cut through like the sharpest knife but the treble will be sweet and never grating on the ears. From chunky low-string metal riffing to screaming string bends in the high register, the Aldrich bridge humbucker covers them all while retaining the dynamics of your picking attack.

Mindseyes Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Looks trem spaced to me. Shipping to Germany? Hmmm...probably not. Aren't there Customs issues?I shiped a vintage G&L bass to Germany Via the USPO a year or so ago and it was next to painless.I think it was only 1 form to fill out. Those Aldrich pickups rule BTW, if i wasent broke i'd buy it!
bubs_42 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I've shipped a guitar to Germany, didn't have any problems.
Scooter Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Ok then. I was under the impression I'd have to lie about the item so the recipient wouldn't have to pay a duty fee (or something like that).
proxmax Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 it is right that the recipient has to pay custom fees when theitem was no present and the worth is over 45 € that is at the recentcurrency rate $63.90i wouldn't want anyone to lie for that lil money i had to pay at the customs, when the pup is in a good condition and really tremspaced.
