MR714 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Hey all, I'm selling my 1990 Chap Bass. Plays and sounds great. A worn thumb notch by the P pickup and some dings in the clearcoat only on the neck. (couldn't get to show up in a pic!) Gig bag included. I'm asking $600 plus shipping. Cashiers check or money order is preferred. I will accept Paypal if you pick up the fees. If it doesn't sell by next Sunday, off to evilbay!!! Feel free to email me at mattsmusicalpage@yahoo.com with any questions. Thanks in advance!
cmatthes Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Phew - my heart just skipped a beat there, Matt! That's a cool bass. Don't think I've seen that one before. One of the easiest guys to do geetar biz with here, people.
bbobb24 Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Hey Matt, I just sent you an e-mail, let me know what you think when you get a minute.
cmatthes Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 My son will be crushed. He was trying to find a way to come up with $600 in a hurry, but NIH wouldn't take his blood without parental consent. He's also looking for a Blitz bass if you track one of those down!

cmatthes Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 What about the Bank of Mom and Dad??? He's almost 16, and he's been able to save at least half (often more) towards any big purchases he's made over the years. He started saving for his first Strat at age 9, and then we met him halfway for his Jaguar bass when he was 13. He decided a few months ago that he'd really like a Blitz bass, so he knows what he's got to do! It's amazing the difference it makes when a kid knows how hard (and for how long) they have to save for something, that they truly appreciate it and treat it like gold. That was a lesson that Serial and I learned from our Dad years ago, and it definitely works. All that being said, somebody just scored a mighty cool (and pretty rare!) bass.
bbobb24 Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I can't think of a better way of enjoying some of my first tax return in the last couple of years.

My kids are 2.5 and 5 ... my daughter runs for her uke when I start noodling ... both are showing some signs of interest in playing music. Thats how I've been justifying gear purchases lately. My daughter wants to play with anything my son is playing with, so the way I see it is I need two of every Hamer model. But its hard to compete with people like bubs_42
bbobb24 Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 This one showed up and I'm really happy with it, it's just a shame that band practice got canceled for this week. It's just as described and it sounds Awesome!!! Thanks Matt!!!
