Rhys Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Look at this baby!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hamer-Bass-Guitar-Ha...=item35a909c617
gorch Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Its an '86 and it's got red binding. How cool is that?Actually, who is Nigel May?
Rhys Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 I have no idea who Nigel May is. I tried Googling him but there's nothing. I'm assuming he played in a hair metal band though..... If it stays cheap I might have to buy it, though I have absolutely no use whatsoever for a pointy bass with a Kahler.

That looks cool for some odd reason. I'll never forget when my old bass player got the Ric 4001 he had been pining for forever. Sent it out IMMEDIATELY and had that same Kahler mounted up. He gave up playing shortly thereafter. I never knew what to say about it besides "Wow". Z
Rhys Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 No, but you could certainly be an enabler for a fellow HFC'er . I suppose I could do that if anyone's interested, but shipping to the USA in that full flightcase is going to be insanely expensive. Price is shooting up every time I check the auction.
Big Mick Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 This bass isn't mine, I just spotted it whilst trawling ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hamer-Bass-Guitar-Ha...=item35a909c617 Cheers, Mick.

Rhys Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 Update - 2 hours left and 325 quid. That's seems awful cheap?BIt is, but let's be fair there's not going to be too much call for a bass with a paint job like that & a Kahler trem!I'm a bass player myself & though I'm tempted to buy it if it stays that cheap I know it would never get played so there's no point.(I've got serious bass GAS for something else at the moment anyway, which may mean I have to sell my 1982 Special to part fund it).
Bennyboy-UK Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 God - the parts and case would cover that...probably.
GusS Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 local pickup only is not the best way to go about getting fair market value on ebay
