carfish7 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 This looks quite clean and very dangerous. Don't know if the price is whack or in line, but their website is full of cool guitar and good humor - two of my favorite things.Their (slightly wonky) description and a linky;"This Sceptor Explorer is actually one of two designs produced by Hamer under the same name: the other model was the Flying V. It reminds us of the GT Pro that Glen Tipton of Judas Priest uses which, of course takes us back to the glory days when Heavy Metal ruled the earth and there was no such thing as Lady Gaga (we did have Madonna, but she was from Michigan, making her forgivable). This 80's beast features those cool boomerang inlays and a really hot set of Seymour Duncans- the perfect reason to dust off that old JCM 800 in the closet and make some noise. There are a couple of dings on the guitar, but it must be considered one of the cleaner survivors available and the OHSC and tool kit are included. It's basically a time warp piece and if you want to take yourself back to the days of smoky, rock n roll- filled bars with hot waitresses, then this is the perfect guitar to do it. After all, don't we all want to go back now and then?"http://www.grinningelk.com/productDetails....6+Hamer+ScepterZ
atquinn Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Good thing I know I'll never be cool enough to play a guitar like that! -Austin
