I'm doing a little strategic asset realignment these days and could use the space and money more than these guitars.

All are fully playable and in decent to excellent shape. All would make good backups, stage guitars or step-ups from beginner stuff. So:

First off a Squier 20th Anniversary. This one, I'm told, was made for the 2002 NAMM show and only a few were built with this finish. I bought this as a gag and accidentally found out that it's a pretty decent and very good-playing Tele. It's screwed together better than your typical Squier. 20th Anniversary neck plate, cast machines, nice neck with medium jumbo frets, stainless steel bridge saddles. It's got your typical Tele bite. I put a treble bypass cap in to retain the highs as you roll off the volume. A few very small dings and a bit of rivet rash on the back, but overall in fine shape. Play this with your country band and get some extra attention. Will ship in a Fender gig bag. $250 + shipping. See below for other terms.

Second: A Hamer Slammer Series Strat. I bought this as a rescue project. The electronics were a wreck and I replaced them with an EMG SA set plus the EMG "Fat" control (SPC is the official name) on a black PG. So you effectively get 3 singles and 3 buckers on one plank. Thin neck, 2 point tremolo (the bar is long gone), nice cherry sunburst finish on a one-piece alder (I think) body. Numerous small scrapes and dings. Most of them should buff out. Will ship in a warped but usable SKB-style case. $250 + shipping. See below for other terms.

Third: a Danelectro Hodad Mosrite shaped wonder in Stike-approved blue/turquoise sparkle. Love it or hate it, you can't ignore it. Typcial Dano construction. 4 lipstick-tube pickups that are wired as two humbuckers. Push-pull pots tap the coils and/or phlop the phase. Scads of cool tones in this one. Bigsby-style whammy. Comes with the original Danelectro "tweed" case with one small nick in the vinyl. Play the pool parties with no worries. It's a smidge "turquoise-ier" than the photos show. It's never been gigged, and is in excellent condition. SOLD!

Shameless Inducement: Shipping in the CONUS only. worst-case via FedEx home delivery is about $40.00. If it's less I'll refund it or we can work out something based upon an actual quote.

BUT!! Buy all three of the above for $700 and I'll ship them free.

Finally. I'd be surprised if this garners even a glimmer of interest, but..... It's a Casip MG510 guitar/MIDI controller. It's a pretty decent SSH Strat-type, Japanese made, and has a Roland pickup as well as the control functions to drive a synth directly. The MIDI out is the standard 5-pin "plug it into anything" type instead of the proprietary Roland deal. It does not have a synth built in, only the control circuitry to drive a synth.

In the course of its life I changed the pickups to an EMG SAV/SAV/89 setup. SAV's are SA's with exposed polepieces. The 89 can be split (one I get Murkat's switch and a couple of new pots wired in), and an extra mini-toggle will bring in the bridge pickup regardless of the 5-way's position. Six screw trem (with the bar). 22 fret neck with minimal fretwear. Pretty damn heavy, though.

The electronics (pickup and synth stuff) are on separate 9V power supplies. Again, some dings and scrapes but only one significant one, along the top edge of the front.

This thing is an experimenter's dream. Cover the synth parts in Rush tunes without the headache of a keyboardist, get a weird haircut and do 80's Britpop, or put on your tie-dye and get spacey widdit.

I need to clear $300 out of this or it's staying home. It may be a week or two before it's actually ready to ship.

The fine print: CONUS only. As noted, buy the first three listed for $700 and I'll ship them free. Shipping, worst case, should be $40 per piece or less in the CONUS. I'll either refund any difference or we can work something out. PayPal OK if you use the "gift" option or eat the fees.

Additional photos can be taken of any details you'd like to see. Scads of references here and with a couple of the retailers on the board as well.

Parts and pickups coming soon. Stay tuned.

The Dano is SOLD! to the man from N'Awlins! That's a great Mardi Gras guitar right there!

Perfect French Quarter axe!!

Thanks!

Tom,

Got the Dano today, good thing I came home early as the FedEx guy left it in full view of the street! Anyway, this thing is CLEAN! The sounds are great too, super versatile!

One question...Is there a truss rod on this thing? I'm guessing you have to take the neck off to get to it? I'd like to put 10's on it.

Thanks for a great deal on a sleeper guitar!

Dimwit FedEx. They had the instructions both in the computer and on the package....sheesh. But it got there on time.

I never had to futz with the truss rod, and hadn't particularly noticed, so my guess would be the same as yours, take the neck off. Let me know, would you?

BTT, somebody get this Tele, it's another sleeper.

Hey, I'm interested in the Casio if the synth guts are working right. I've always wanted to play around with one, but didn't want to lay out alot of cash, so this could be perfect. I'll PM you too.

tom,

the rod is at the neck heel, had to give it a 1/2 turn to go with 10-46's (I like almost no relief) and it plays great!

Thanks!

Scott
