These seem to be what were provided stock in Gretsch BST 1500's made in 1980/1981 time period.
Although any information found on the internet insists they came stock with Dimarzio Distortions.
Anyone have any idea or ever seen plastic baseplates such as these? The guitars were made in USA Baldwin era solid bodies that never really caught on, but if you get a chance to try one you won't regret it.
I've still never seen anything from any manufacturer I know of that's produced a pickup from all plastic parts. The material between the base plate and the bobbins appears to be copper shielding. They're also odd in that there is no slug side, only screws.
