WTT: Chrome covered Duncan Custom for a covered JB

This should be easy, right? I've got a chrome covered (dbl black underneath) Duncan Custom with about 8" of lead, and I'm looking for one of those hated Duncan JBs that everone instantly rips out of their Hamers and throws in the parts drawer. Nickel cover preferred, but chrome okay too.

Thanks.

NOT SO FAST! It's a f**kin' Duncan 59B Arrrgghhh!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry B, I has always assumed that there was a JB and 59 in there. Now I know why the bridge pup was so bright and thin. I'm a retard.

You an me both. I never thought the JBs were particularly bright and thin, but I've read that some people do, so I just thought that that JB was "one of those".

I've got a really nice stock 93 set out of a studio coming up for sale soon, Honestly sounds great. Zebra 59 neck, double black JB bridge .... Roy B says pre 95 Seymour JB's are the way to go and I have to agree, I think the older 59's sound better too... I just have obsessive compulsive pickup switching disease and I really wanted to try a Rio Grande set

I'm more just putting this offer out there as a heads up to the Hamer community. It seems like whenever a FM or Studio etc wants to be returned to stock its a big ordeal finding the right pickups ... it shouldn't be!

I'm totally down with the saving money / trading concept ... Believe me I know!

Sorry for the minor thread derailment and good luck in your search
