Can anyone tell me the story on why hamer no longer makes a strat style guitar other than the fact it's done by everyone? I love mine! It is 1000% better than any fender. I have considered selling so any ideawhat they are worth? (1990's model). Thanks folks. I love this site I can totally talk guitar and I do not gy the blank stare my wife gives me when i use words like tremelo or intonation!

Well since I am the first to respond I will offer the HFC offical price of three fiddy! :D

Jake the price depends on the condition of the guitar, how original is it? Does it have the OHSC? I have seen them go for $200 (rare) to a asking price of over a $1000. Most seem to go in the price range of $500 to $800.

Hope it helps and please don't be afraid to display some pictures. ;)

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know what Hamer does not make then any longer?

Actually - yes. You nailed it in your earlier post. They don't do them for a number of reasons, but primarily because so many other companies do that style and they want(ed) to be known for their own deal.

Now that Fender owns Kaman/Hamer, I don't see that coming ever again though.
