DavidE Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Got my Korina Jr. but haven't had time to plug it in yet (just back from a weekend of gigs at www.putinbay.com). Hopefully tonight after I take the family out to dinner.Anyway, definitely a 2 piece body as expected. Fantabulous bookmatching work by Hamer! The fingerboard looks like brazilian rosewood to me. Beautiful multi colored streaks of chocolate. Could it be? It's a '94.
BCR Greg Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 It ain't no 94, fella. It's a 2004. The board is Indian, Hamer has always gotten realy nice rosewood.

BCR Greg Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Why are all the chicks flipping their hair?
DavidE Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 Must be an Ohio thang.....Actually, I'm a good boy up there. The only married guy in the band. Freaking great time with lots of laughs.
Kurt L Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 DON'T go home with the girl in the purple. And if you do, DON'T fall asleep.Damn, that's scary!Nice guitar, though! :-)
DavidE Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 LOL... Definitely preferred this birthday girl who got on stage with us last time...
serial Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Is that from Put In Bay? Heard a pretty sobering story on sat about a local band that was up there this past week. Ewww.
BCR Greg Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 A band from our area was playing there and went drinking with a long time fan. After a while, the fan passed out, so the band started writing all over him with magic markers. Then one of them realized that the fan was not passed out.
DavidE Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 Is that from Put In Bay? Heard a pretty sobering story on sat about a local band that was up there this past week. Ewww. Do tell. Put in Bay can get a bit crazy....Nobody is driving (well, some with golf carts and some on mopeds or bicycles) as most people stay on their boats or in hotels that are a 2 minute walk from almost every bar.
serial Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Greg pretty much summarized things. Guy had a heart attack apparently. The band didn't realize it until after they'd drawn all over him with markers. Pretty stupid to say the least, but I imagine those guys will be "changed" a little bit.Sorry to hijack the thread-that IS a very cool lookin' Junior!
DavidE Posted September 12, 2005 Author Posted September 12, 2005 Ouch...I wish I could post the photos of what the guys in the band did to the bass player after he passed out on Friday night....... but what happens on the Island STAYS on the Island. My wife told me one thing before I went to Put in Bay with my band:"Don't pass out."Great freaking advice!
