Disturber Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Disturber:I think you can save the local authorities the worry - I believe that Gary and that guitar have been separated for a few years. Enjoy Dublin though! Ok thanks. Then I'll guess I just have to stalk him out then. And do terrible things to his body until he tells me who he sold that Standard to.
Armitage Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 What are the necks on those made of, mahogany or maple?-AustinI don't know, I haven't seen one, but didn't someone here claim that Hamer has always used a maple neck on guitars with a Floyd?

Not all HAMER Floyd-necks were maple. They must have figured out after the early to early-mid '80s that the mahogany wasn't getting it done, so switched over by the time that you could get a Floyd on anything.

I know that gary's lived in London for the past 20+ year's and if he's got any hamer's left they must be under his bed as i bought my 88 single pup chapp from a shop called "King's Road Vintage Guitar's" and they said that they took at least 7 hamer's off him.martin.
