jerseydrew Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Anybody know where I can get a Fender Telecaster decal for a 62 Tele?
Hamer95USA Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Hey jerseydrew, Look on E-bay. You might want to check the Fender book to see what type of logo you want to get to make it "authentic". Guitar George
bobbymack Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 You won't find 'em on ebay, Fender's lawyers shut 'em down quick.Try to track down a place called Kozax's in Pomona, CA. Their website kozaxs.com seems to be gone though...
lonote049 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 They're available all over e-bay! Instead of using the word "Fender" anywhere in the title or copy, they use the word "vintage" and say they have a large and varied inventory. You have to e-mail them what you want and they reply with a photo of the decal and price. It's like a guitar geek cyber-speakeasy!
lonote049 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 They also have Gibson and others, I'm sure that's why they use "vintage." Sneaky bastards, aren't they?
BadgerDave Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Most of what you find on eBay will be crap. Guys with mettalic ink cartridges (if you're lucky) running off cheap copies on their home PC printers.E-mail:[email protected] and tell him what you want. Excellent quality and reasonable prices.
John E Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Badger Dave, please check your HFC e-mail. Thanks.
