  1. I'm a bass player born in 1949, hence lonote049.
  2. Here's hoping you recover quickly and painlessly.
  3. Coolest ANYTHING I've seen in years!
  4. Cool Disposition will be at Neumann's in North St. Paul tonight from 9:00 - 1:00.
  5. I should be able to drop by for a while this evening. We're doing 2 shows at the Famous Dave's Ribs and Blues Fest tomorrow in downtown MPLS tomorrow so I (realistically) won't be able to make the jam tomorrow.
  6. On June 12, Cool Disposition will be playing 2 shows (6:30 and 8:30) at Famous Dave's BBQ Blues Fest at Peavey Plaza, Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis. On June 25th we'll be at Neumann's bar in North St. Paul
  7. One of those was hanging in a local shop in the 90's and saw a few more at guitar shows. Every one of them had checked finishes. The originals seemed kind of clunky when I tried them out. The're a local upright player who has two of them (along with his upright and his Ampeg baby bass). He paid $2,500 for his most recent purchase and it needed some work. I have played it a few times and it is heavy and the neck was beyond chunky. The coolness factor, though, is off the charts!
  8. Thanks for pointing these out. Just what I need, more basses to covet.
  9. Speaking voice? Ozzy? I'm not certain he knows how to speak.
  10. I remember playing through a wireless and picking up the stage banter at the titty bar down the block..."Gentlemen, give it up for the lovely and talented Juicy Lucy!"
  11. It looks like Gibson is finally getting even with Fender for the whole reverse Firebird thing.
  12. I knew getting old was going to be bad, I just didn't know it was going to be this bad.
