El Kabong Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I just got back from a vacation from Vancouver, BC. I found a red TLE Custom, all stock AFAICT, in excellent condition. It was in a glass case, so I couildn't see the back. The only thing one might wish to change is the pitted and worn floyd bar. Other than that, she looked killer! The Price? $799.99 CAD, (about $680USD, before exchange charges).http://www.sanfrantrading.com/ (Ask for the music department. I know they ship, as they are a pawn shop).
serial Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Called and it seems to be on hold. Fast fingers here!
El Kabong Posted September 16, 2005 Author Posted September 16, 2005 Sorry, Steve. I am jet lagged. I got up at 3 am this morning, after going to bed at 5pm last night, Japan time. Some bro is going to get a killer guitar. If I wasn't waiting on delivery for my custom, hot rod flamed, Charvel tele, I would have scooped this one up. A lucky member on this board is getting one purdy guitar at a killer price. It is a heart-stopper.
sw686blue Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 This post is totally useless without pix.We want pix!!!We want pix!!!We want pix!!!We want pix!!!We want pix!!!We want pix!!!...Okay, whoever pick this one up, you know what to do.
El Kabong Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 It's just like the red one recently sold in Europe, to Martin, I believe: a Schaller floyd, a hum, 2 single size blade OBL's, white top binding, (faded to cream), and boomers.
cmatthes Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I spoke to the shop this morning. Not very good description, but I did confirm what it was!

El Kabong Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 Thanks, Martin. It is the same guitar, save for the OBL's in the single coil spots, although the top one looks like it may have them in the photo. Yours has decent figuring in the tops. The one in Vancouver doesn't have a rich top compared to the 2 pictured.
