Turdus Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Have 5 Gunlocke chairs. Belonged to my Grandparents, and they are at least from the mid 60's, and perhaps much older. I know Gunlocke has made chairs for the Oval Office. Just trying to see if they may have some value before I give them away. Thoughts?
Punkavenger Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 http://pastpresentfuture.net/furniture/sea...up/wood010.htmlthese are going for $335 ea
Turdus Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 yo PA... thanks for that link. that chair is slightly different than what I have. However, my grandmother was a school teacher. so perhaps that is what these are. I've always called them the Mayberry chair, because a similar chair sits in Sheriff Taylor's jail. I know they are Gunlocke, but I've not been able to identify the exact model and year.Perhaps I should contact Gunlocke.Danke.

FrankieIII Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Clean them up as good as you can, take some nice pics, and throw them up on eBay with local pickup only and see what happens. If no bites, then give them away...
