zorrow Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Hello,I wanted two XL-sized HFC T-shirts: one dark green, one purple. I placed my order last August 5. So far, I have no news. I wonder if shipping to Canada was a problem, or if not every order was fulfilled. Is there any other Canadian around here that already received his/her T-shirts?Thanks for your help! Quote
cmatthes Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Z:It has been posted here that we are still waiting on one last portion of the order (17 shirts or 4-5 orders were shorted). As I mentioned, those are expected to arrive today, if all goes well. The other portion of the order (over 200 shirts) was shipped out within 24 hours of arrival a couple of weeks ago. Shipping to Canada runs @ $15 for USPS Parcel Post (4-10 days air). Hope that helps - I'll check to see if yours was one of the ones that has been held up and let you know from home tonight. Several were sent to Canada and Internationally, and I know of two that did not have the complete order received so could not be shipped. Thanks,Chris Quote
zorrow Posted September 20, 2005 Author Posted September 20, 2005 Chris,Ok, that's great. By the way, I see now that I owe you around ten bucks for S&H then -- given those 15 you're mentioning here. I'm sending them to you tonight -- my email is <[email protected]>, so you'll be able to do the follow-up.Thanks,Zorrow Quote
blackfbiv Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Hang in there Zorrow... Chris never shorted anyone 'round here... It's our fault for living in Canada. I can mail a letter from Edmonton to Toronto in 2-3 days... take a week to get one across town a lot of times. I'm still waiting too... adds to the excitement. Dion Quote
cmatthes Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 The Customs forms probably slow things down at the border! I have very small handwriting... Quote
blackfbiv Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 They'd be too busy hassling innocent truck drivers to mess with a bag of t-shirts. Probably filling out some kinda paperwork in order to separate me from another $5 or $10. hahahaha Soooo hard to laugh when it's true... Dion Quote
cmatthes Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 No matter WHERE ya live, the Gub'ment gonna stick it to ya!I marked them as "Gift/Cadeau" because the Postal dude said that anything else would add some sort of crazy tax on the other end...that ain't cool!! Quote
elduave Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 My shirt's not here either. I know, I know, they don't make my size. Quote

Because here in Canada you get totally screwed with taxes -- and customs are no exception when it's about screwing you -- but yes, if we live here it's 100% our fault, I know... Â THANX! Zorrow Quote
