What is the Hamer of chain saw sharpeners?

A.(2) Stihl chain saws

B. 2.5 acres

so, I go to ace hardware and buy new (stilh) ones. (about $20. ea.)

Not worth my time to attempt to sharpen an already comprimised toothy.

Buy new and like my local Ace hardware they will sharpen them for $10 to $12 that way you always have a sharp one handy.

I just use the cheap multi purpose Oregon sharpener fron Lowes, I can sharpen an 18 inch chain in 10 minutes on the saw and it does fine.

That's what I do w/ my Husqvarna . Works for me as I don't have that much to cut down around my house. This saw will just be handed down when I die.
