The only thing that I can think of that somebody would put in (or even want to put in) a Rick would be a treble booster, like the Vox treble booster circuit that Roger McGuinn had put into his Rick, and like those in the RMcG Special Edition.
mc2 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 The Vox has more to it than that one. I have a pair of old Vox 12 strings with that circuit in them...play and sound better than any Ric 12.Ric guys always try to buy it after they try it.
