humfree Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Fantastic guitar in excellent condition. 2 dings on the top, a bit of belt rash on the back, but otherwise clean as clean can be. Had a fairly recent fret dress and added a BladeRunner trem with a steel block. Currently has a sort of custom set of Bill Lawrence noiseless pups.. an L290 in the neck, L280 in the middle, and an L250XL in the bridge running through 250k pots. The on/onswitch is wired to access all seven pickup positions. Glad to rewire it as stock if you prefer – I still have the Vintage/Hot Rails set. There is a curious spot of Hameritis near the bottom of the pickup routes.. it's really hard to see unless you are looking for it, or have the pups removed. Also, one of the brass molly bolts needs to be replaced and I don't believe the height adjustment screws are stock. Prying this from my fingers to sell.. be gentle. I'd like to get $1,000 after shipping.. the closer you are to California the less the shipping. I'd love to get a certified check – I have references. I can ship in almost real time. I'll get current pics up ASAP.. I went all in on a set of Vintage Vibe Strat sized P90s – going to be the end all pup for this guitar and they were nice.. but the neck pup was taller than the builder related to me and I couldn't lower it for a proper balance. I didn't notice it right away, but the first time I got real loud and went to the neck pup it just overwhelmed. I was really bummed, until I put the Lawrences back in with the new trem and it came alive once again. Can't say enough about what installing a decent trem does for these guitars. At any rate, I don't have any current pics with the new trem - here's a few with the Lawrences and the stock trem. More pics coming. Comes with tweed case.
cmatthes Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 The Bladerunner has to be great on that guitar. I actually like the Wilkinson VSVG trem, but the Bladerunner smokes it in my opinion.

I was going to pull the thread, but I know there is interest, so it's best to keep ya'll informed. I'd rather sell it here if it weren't for the shipping.
