We do it pretty regularly, with a goofy little segue in and out of "Midnight Rider". That Drop D is a nice touch. I'll have to see if we can work that in without the bassist and I stepping on each other.

I think that's actually drop C - the whole guitar seems to be down a step

Aaah, OK. We do it out of D, so the full guitar drop wouldn't be necessary.

Works out perfectly on my 12-string though. I keep that down a step normally, so a little tweak and I'm ready to go

Hmmm, Since Most Esteemed Redhead sings it, it's not an issue. But I usually take along an Ovation 1778T "longneck", so I'm ready, especially if I wear my tiny underwear.
