1990 Guild Starfire

This is on the local CL and just wondering if this would be something that I should look into?

If it didn't have a neck reset $700 it would be good buy. I am not a Guild expert so any help would be appreciated.

Which model? Starfire IV, V? Bound neck, pearl/abalone block inlays?

I think $700 for ANY USA-made semi-hollow is a good deal. If the neck reset was done properly, that shouldn't devalue the guitar at all. Hey, it's worth looking at, IMO.

It's a bound neck Starfire IV with dots. The neck reset doesn't look too bad but I would take a close look at the spot where the neck binding is cracked. $700 is a pretty decent price...used ones go for about twice that amount. Or dig up a low wattage amp to trade for it.

Unless it is an obvious problem when you see it in person, hard to see how you could lose at the price.

But it will not exactly be a 335, so make sure it works for your playing.
