Only a hundred or so compressed into maybe ten square blocks.

Make your way to an area called Ochanomizu and from the time you step off the train it's guitars galore. When you're done with the guitars there's a nice Japanese temple and garden about two blocks down the opposite side of the train station.

There are several stores in and around Shibuya as well, but I didn't find what they offered so different that I feel it's worth the crowds. Shibuya is one of Tokyo's busiest train stations, more or less their version of Times Square.

Jealous! Need someone to carry your bags (and all the guitars you buy)?

I've got a bud that's lived nearby since 1988 and I've been putting off visiting him for about that long. He's contemplating a move back to the States in a few years so the time is drawing nigh. I'm hoping to get over there in the next couple of years or so.

Have a great trip! Definitely post some pictures!
