BTMN Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 The '97 Mahogany Standard had guards too as most non- flamed top Standard I have seen. The ones ordered without I have seen rule! I took them off my Mini Standard and my '96 Korina ones but my '97 Mahogany one has a ghost image of the guard that is a couple shades lighter than the rest so I have left it on but I wanted to take it off.
Steve Haynie Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Ooops. The mahogany Standards slipped past me. To get rid of the shadow of the old guard on your mahogany Standard you might be able to leave it in sunlight during the summer to see if it fades away to match the rest of the body.
BTMN Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Not in the Florida sun. Krispy Critter Guitar anyone? I was thinking about getting Clear ones or it and the others that way it wont look so odd with the screw holes.
Ting Ho Dung Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 It is the shot angle and the lens used that is messing with your eyes guys. The guitar is straight. The guitar is not straight. It's a Closet Queen. Badda Bing!! Tip yo Bitches on the way out.
