filtre_ Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 no affiliation to this auction on Swiss auction site ricardo.ch: http://www.ricardo.ch/kaufen/musik-und-musikinstrumente/gitarren-und-zubehoer/gitarren/elektrische-gitarren/hamer-centaura-antrazit/v/an745627686/?IsAutoCompletSearch=1 No information about serial number or about a case. It is actually described as a Centaura model but looks like a Chaparral Custom to me. Starting bid is CHF 400, Buy-it-now is CHF 450 which is about USD 479.Sounds like a good deal for a Chap with boomerangs. EditUnfortunately, this appears to be a auction where the buyer has to collect the item. Must admit I am tempted but must try to resist. The seller is located an hour from where I live.
atquinn Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Yeah, but at that price, you can afford to refin it any way you want.-Austin
Montelovesco Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 ^^^^ THIS.The price is tempting. Specially for Europe. To quote some HFC members: Someone should buy this.

filtre_ Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 I picked up the guitar today. Here are some pics and also some questions to the Chaparral experts in this forum:http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/67722-chaparrel-custom-restoration/
ZR Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 the bolt-on headstocks are the smaller-angled version.I prefer the setneck version - like I have on my ,86 Chap Custom.
