1980 Prototype

I haven't yet been in touch with the seller about the following Protoype, but it has piqued my interest. The price may be on the higher side, for its location, and for other combined factors (being a Hamer, being a Hamer Proto, etc.)

Anything look off? His asking of 950 Canadian is about 830 USD.

It's a 1982 from the peak of Prototype production.

No Prototypes until 1981, anyway.

But it looks legit, and original.

That was my first question. The year didn't seem right. Just before I saw your post I checked the book to confirm that.
