Very nice collection! I prefer the bridge position though. The 4th position sounds kind of bass ladden.

i love those DD pickups , my tally sounds unreal - gorgeous tone and i love that series position as well , the bridge pickup alone sounds a bit thin to me ,,,,,,,still getting used to that V feel of the neck , not bad , just different

The neck felt really comfortable from the get-go for me...tone has has a ton of twang !!

Hopefully the next guitar I buy is a SuperPro. I was concerned whether I would like the V profile neck on the Tally. I got the guitar tuned up and played it not even thinking of the V. I saw the post above and I started to wonder even if I had the V profile. I picked up the guitar again and yes I can tell it's V now that I'm thinking about it. It feels slim and wonderful to me. I have guitars with thick D profile to C profile. If I play one long enough I start thinking this is my favorite until I pick up another and it's no I like this one better. My Artist and Studio are the hardest guitars for me to play. I've considered a Newport but I'm afraid it would be the same cut as the Artist and Studio. I think it's just the shorter scale I have a hard time with because my Fender's, Monaco's and Talladega feel great. As for the twang, I think I read there's a brass plate under the DD's like a Telecaster. I haven't peeked yet. I'm sure that twang is the DD's matched with the sustain block. You have to love it :)

Hey Gabe, did you snag that from Paul Solomon? I was talking with him about it. It's a fantastic instrument! Congrats for sure!

No, I bought it from Dan (atomicwash) some months ago.
