Guitar Center Promo Codes? For Used Guitar.

I'm looking at a used guitar from Guitar Center. Does anyone know of any promo codes that could help save me a few bucks?

Discount codes won't work on used gear... however cashback sites, like mr rebates and top cashback are at 7% cashback, which can

be used for used stuff... be frugal is at 7.3, however, I like the reliability of the first two... once got stiffed on a $50 rebate from befrugal

so can't recommend them for .3%

Also, if you have discover card, they have a 10% cashback I believe. which is pretty good.

For any of these options NEED to use the proper links and clickthru. don't wait too long for the session, and also,

make sure your browser isn't blocking cookies

You can also try negotiating, was told by a friend who works there that this is dictated by the amount of time the piece

is there.

Thanks, Dave. They recently dropped the price pretty aggressively, so I figured they probably wouldn't be open to haggling just yet. So, NGD coming.

Speaking of GC, the one in my town has cut its inventory considerably.

I mean there's almost nothing of interest in there anymore. Only Epis

and low end Ibeenhads for guitars, and little in the way of amps. I guess

it could be due to holiday buying, but I doubt it. Anyone else seen this going on?

Similar observations have been noted at folks in other GC cities on message boards I frequent. My local store is nothing inventory-wise compared to what it was as recently as a year or so ago. There is nothing there beyond older stuff they take in on trades that interests me.
