Asking $550 shipped, including Hanson Gigbag, lower 48

from the website http://www.hansonguitars.com/chicagoan.htm

  • Body: Bound Maple Top, Sides and Back
  • Neck: Set neck bound Maple ( a chunky neck)
  • Fingerboard: Ebony with Pearl Markers
  • Scale: 24.75”
  • Frets: Medium Jumbo
  • Pickups: Hanson Designed Mini-Humbuckers - these sound great, no mud in the neck, and not overly bright bridge.
  • Bridge: Tune-o-matic with roller saddles (Gold)
  • Tail Piece: Bigsby B70
  • Tuners: Enclosed full size (Gold)
  • Controls: 2 Vol, 2 Tone,  3-way Toggle
  •
  • Overall condition is good.  There is wear on the bigsby arm where gold has worn through and there is a little case bite on the back of the guitar into the wood.  It is small, and since it is a solid wood back not a laminate, there is no structural issues.  Pickup toggle needs a cleaning, as it doesnt always engage the bridge pickup.  Otherwise typical swirling on the front and back of the guitar, and frets are in good shape.

A lot of guitar for this $$.  Guitar is black, with very light sparkle flaking in the finish

For those not in the know, Hanson Guitar is the same folks as Lakland Bass and made in the same factory as the Skyline basses.

Cool guitar!

FWIW, there is a local dealer that carries Hanson guitars and I have played around with several models. They've all been pretty nice, easy to play and sound great. Seems like a lot of guitar for little money, to me anyway.
