FS 2016 Gibson SG Std T - SOLD!

I bought this 2016 SG new from Sweetwater. I didn't have a 2x humbucker guitar at the time and Sweetwater's financing deal at the time made it a no-brainer. It's never left my non-smoking home, though because it's not a good fit for my current band. I wanted a straight-up rock machine for "when I let my hair down" but the odds of getting the ol' punk band back together are slim to none for the foreseeable future. It's a great guitar, but I need to free up some cash.

Great condition other than the occasional light pick mark and where my thumbnail dented the clearcoat around the input jack when removing the cable. Gibson made that jack TIGHT, and I never even realized my thumbnail was doing it. I tried to picture it the best I could. The finish is nitro, so they could be sanded out, but it's not something I would worry about doing. They're small and hard to see and photograph, but they are there.

The good? Brings the rawk. Light, under 7lbs. A man's neck, 1.06" at the 12th fret. Dark rosewood fretboard. Gibson 498t/490r pickups.  I currently have a set of Dimarzio Virtual PAFs I got from bubs that I put Dimarzio nickel covers on in it and a 500k pot/PIO cap harness to replace the stock circuit board controls. 2016s came with gig bags, but for $50 I'll include an unused Gator case.

First pic shows an ABR-1, but it has the stock Nashville on it like the rest of the pics show.

Will sell for SOLD

I will attest to this breed/generation of SG being a real featherweight ... a friend brought one to my shop just yesterday absolutely identical to the above and I could have sworn he initially handed me an empty hardshell - the guitar inside was THAT light.

Love it!  My first 'real' guitar was/is a 70 SG I bought new and still have.

Def. Eric Bloom machine ya got there; all ya need is a harmonica bridge on it.

GLWtS!

I recently bought a 2009 SG Standard, and it has quickly become one of my favorite guitars... in fact, I may go take it for a spin having read this.

I bet this thing is awesome.
