cordroad Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Some questions. How does the ASAT sound through the hb? Is it kinda dark and muddy on that mahogany slab?
Bluesking Posted March 9, 2006 Author Posted March 9, 2006 The ASAT is very much in the same ballpark as my 96 Studio. I don't consider it to be dark, but I'm also playing it through a '81 JCM 800, so take that for what its worth. The cool thing is the PU config - lots of ballsy tone in the bridge, but the neck single coil really does well on clean and slightly crunchy tones - also performs well on overdriven blues and such. Pretty versatile all around.
Bluesking Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 Regrettably, the ASAT is now on Ebay............ASAT Auction
