I was cruising around on Reverb and ran across this Hamer Chapparal Elite with Sustainiac. I noticed that the original Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis pickups, the Schaller tremolo bridge, and the original Sustainiac are missing and replaced with aftermarket parts. I think the guitar is overpriced. What do you guys think of this guitar? Guitar George

Its sad to see a beautiful guitar sullied with non-original parts... but maybe he had Dimarzio pickups in it like my Sustainiac 1989 Chaparral!?! I put in Bill Lawrence Rails from Billlawrence.com! Thanks Becky! Improved sound and tone immensely and I think looks too but that's my opinion. I kept originals so a person who wants it all original if I sell can have that option. M
Hamer95USA Posted May 20, 2021 Author Posted May 20, 2021 Concerning the Chapparal Elite with the Sustainiac, does the Gotoh bridge line up with the Schaller tremolo bridge studs on that guitar? Any opinions of those with experience who have swapped out the Schaller tremolo bridge? Guitar George
