Looks like the neck on the left one is sitting too deep into the body, not just compared to the right one, but compared to any other Vector, including the one I have. Can someone share the pic of the bound one with pointy headstock?

He was jerking me around for 3 weeks almost, sending all kinds of more than strange messages. Finally agreed on completing transaction on Friday, and on Thursday he said that he’s gonna ship it over the pond. No idea what kind of hey stack he has for brains.

Neck reset is a major red flag. Who did that, how they did it, why they did it? I’d say regular price for the guitar that went thru such a transformation.

Hamer Chaparral USA 1988 - all original with quite a few dings and scratches as you can see. More than plenty hairline cracks. But plays nice and smooth. The neck is straight, no buzzing anywhere and string height is about 1.3-1.5mm over 12th fret and the flame on that neck is ridiculously nice. Unfortunately this one came to me with Gibson gigbag and that's how it will go out. $1300 PPFF + shipping Hamer Centaura USA 1990 - All original, also with few cosmetic spots and plenty of hairline cracks. As the previous example it plays very nice. Straight neck and same setup. Also came to me long time ago with no case. I guess it was white and black granite, but turned yellow over time. $1300 PPFF + shipping Hamer Daytona 1994 - Beautiful guitar. Fralin PU's. No major dings or scratches. Very good condition. Two small cosmetic spots. Perfect strat, no need to say anything stupid like "plays like butter". We all know it's on par with any CS strats. It's been with me since before I can remember...about 2 decades probably. This one comes with the case fortunately, few rips, but all latches and hinges in place working fine. $1400 PPFF + shipping

You should start with serial - the way the numbers look is wrong, the font is wrong. Second most obvious - bridge posts, Gibson never had them made to be used with screwdriver ( unless it's harmonica bridge from the 70's). Those two should be enough to start with. Another most obvious - frets should have nibs, or fret binding ( where the neck binding goes over the frets, unless guitar had fret job, then the nibs get shaved off in most cases), Fretboard should be ebony ( some new ones had baked maple ( Classic Custom) or richlite, so for the one who is not familiar it's a bit hard to identify, but definitely not rosewood). All other things like screws, PU rings, inlays are harder to identify for not trained eye. But first three I'd say is a must know.

Last update - the case is cleaned, vacuumed, hot steamed and clorox'ed. Looks brand new, really, inside out. I was wondering now, how much would it pull if I put it up for sale here? It would probably be very wrong . ( just kiddn')
