MCChris Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Rob's upgrades to the Valvetech amp design have eliminated my need for a compressor, so this one's on the market. Functions perfectly, VG cosmetically. I'm pretty sure I have the original box. Older version, so only a bass boost switch for the OD (Tube Screamer flavor). No additional switches for the compressor (newer versions have a tone on/off switch for the comp, I believe). BadgerDave is a big fan of the compressor side. Despite his love for the Line6 Duoverb, he's usually right on the money, and he definitely is regarding the Route 66. Check or PMO okay. Credit cards too but not thru PayPal; you'd have to call me with your credit card number (or I can call you) and I can run it through my machine at the cafe. Here it is among my other effects in the infamous Vertigo shot (taken not surprisingly by SirDan):
sirDaniel Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 a tasty pedal for sure.I give this 2 thumbs up; especially for the price! THe tubescreamer side is also a nice surprise. The comp is great.
MCChris Posted March 21, 2006 Author Posted March 21, 2006 Email SentLooks Cool!! Replied. Sale pending with hepkat.
BadgerDave Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Great pedal. As I've mentioned before, I dumped my Keeley corksniffer compressor in favor of the Route 66.And the Line6 Duoverb is a misunderstood, underappreciated gem. Even if I'm the only person on the planet who thinks so!
serial Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I dig the Duoverb too. Almost the perfect club gigging amplifier-plenty of power (I usually only have volume on mine at 2.5-3), WAY flexible, millions of tones...For ease of use, sound, light weight, etc, I haven't found anything that beats it. The T60 is great, but not nearly as versatile. If anything falls through on the Rt66, gimme a shout!
